About Your Advisor

Mark is a devoted husband and father who believes protecting the people you love starts with planning ahead. As the founder of The Cassman Group, Mark specializes in affordable term life insurance and has access to more than 40 leading insurance carriers, allowing him to help clients find coverage that fits their needs and budget.
He founded TCG with a particular focus on serving recently married couples, growing families, and self-employed individuals who want to protect their income, their homes, and the financial future of the people who depend on them. Mark's goal is simple: to make life insurance easier to understand and help everyday families make confident, informed decisions about protecting their future.

I work hard to provide for my family. I needed a way to extend the fruits of my effort well past my time here on Earth — and I knew life insurance was one way I could do that. The last thing I want is for my wife to worry about money while she's grieving. After getting enough coverage on myself to let my wife live comfortably for years after I'm gone, I covered my wife and my child too. Now, I'm helping my friends and family set up that same kind of protection for the people they love.
Two Families, Two Outcomes
These are the two stories I think about most in this work. Same kind of family, same kind of unexpected moment — very different outcome.
When Mark passed away unexpectedly at 42, his family didn't have to worry about how they'd keep the house or cover his daughters' tuition. Eighteen months earlier, an advisor had walked him through a simple term policy that matched his mortgage and his kids' remaining years at home — nothing complicated, just enough to cover what mattered. The claim was paid within three weeks, and his wife was able to take the time she needed to grieve without also facing a financial crisis.
— A composite scenario, illustrative of how term coverage is designed to work
After James died suddenly in his mid-30s, his family discovered he'd been meaning to get life insurance "once things settled down" — but never had. Without a policy in place, his wife had to take on a second job almost immediately, sell their car, and move in with her parents to keep her two kids in the same school district. The loss itself was hard enough; the financial scramble that followed made it harder.
